Is it a good idea to have my best friend tell the kid i like that i like him ?? or is that a bad idea ???? because i want him to know that i like him but i don't just want to ask him out....so is it a good idea to have my bff tell him that i like him or not ?? i am 13 by the way...

what is the point of telling him that you like him??? You should tell him that you like him when you are ready to go out with him. Telling a friend to tell him is not good because he won't know if it is a rumor and he may not feel comfortable replying if he likes you.
