I have a new job and there is a couple people I went to high school with when I was like 17 or 18 we are older now but they teased me a little because I was quiet. I really want this job and feel I would be safe at work but I don't know it still could be a bad decision to work in this job. What should I do.

Yes Buddy, you should take this job. Dont let anybody ever stop you from getting to where you want to go. If the job does come to the stage where you have grown up and these old highschool people havent then it will show at work. In my experience, ppl who tend to be immature never get anywhere, those of us who act our age, tend to move up the chain. So good luck my friend and go for it.

If you want this job then do not worry about other people. May be they want to be friend with you or they like to test your skills. I would not worry about them and take the job without any hesitation. And good luck. Enjoy man the life is too short.

Go for it. They should e over their high school attitudes by now. If not, ignore them and just do your job. :)
