Can anybody tell me the instructions for removing the pulleys from a 1966 mustang with a 289 engine? thanks for everybody that can help me out.

If you want to remove the crankshaft pulley all you need is a 9/16 socket then pull it off, you may have to tap it with a wood or rubber hammer. If your trying to remove the water pump pulley then remove the fan four bolts with a 1/2 open end wrench and then the pulley will come off. Both are easy to do, Good Luck and GOD Bless.

superb down via the harmonic balancer there,s a scale with numbers on them, that,s the place you mark the timing at and on the balancer you have a slot, mark the slot too and whilst the wonderful mark strains up with slot then it,s timed.
