Its like steps in a relationship. If you want your relationship to be steady, follow those steps slowly. First base might mean "Go out on dates" and second base might be "Have a first kiss with the guy" (it doesnt have to be ur first kiss ever, the first kiss with the GUY) and third base might be to "get in bed with each other" and home base is when you decide to get married and buy a home. Thats how it goes. You may take a relationship to the next step each minute or day, or you may take it by weeks or months or probably years.

first base: KISSING (with the tongue)

second base: FOREPLAY (when a guy finger bangs you)

third base: YOU NAKED IN BED, CLOTHES OFF, READY FOR SEX

this is what the guys describe it to be, frankly...you don't want to be with a guy who initiates this with you. The best thing to do is do not have sex until your married. It's better to stay a virgin then to have sex with the wrong guy.

I think the are progressive levels, like a kiss, a hug, making out,
then sex.

The terms could have changed over the years. Thats what they were....lol
