Both.

The ones that are hurtful know who they are and I feel sorry for them. It is very sad that a person has to resort to hurting others in order to feel better about themselves.

The ones who are encouraging also know who they are - and I am thankful that they take the time to uplift others.

I've had some real nasty stuff emailed to me and some of the answers to my questions have been really over the top in a hostile way but it is just the Internet. In the real world I absolutely know I wouldn't be addressed as such nor would I place myself in such a ridiculous situation, it is all just for fun after all. It's the anonymity that some are taking advantage of and to allow myself to be offended would lessen me in my own persona, I simply can not allow that; it would be wrong. Some of these people are insane and others are borderline mentally and or emotionally retarded and I can not hold them even remotely accountable for their words. I have taken inspiration and found many People to be greatly encouraging to me during my year of playing with this format in fact it has redeemed my opinion of Humanity. People are basically good. Nice question, thanks for asking it.

I've been offended a few times, but not that deeply. And I have seen some encouraging questions and answers.

Annoyed and irritated sometimes, but offended? Hard to say.

Encouraged? A few times. Not with any regularity, but once in a while. It's nice.

I've been encouraged a few times, but insulted as a christian many more. Luckily, I remember the encouragment because it always surprises me. I don't care care about the others, doesn't affect me, I have thick skin.

Lots of people have encouraged me. I have never been offended or deeply hurt, but I do kind of get tired of getting so many thumbs downs. :(
