I have a friend and she is really into this guy but she is not sure if it is okay for her to like him. She is not sure if it is right in islam to like a guy before marriage.....so what do u think?....need some answers here=)

yes --she can like him ---and he can like her ----that will be awesome ---but no Physical before marriage.

I am not a muslim but i have muslim friends. I think your friend is just afraid since most muslim marriages are pre-arranged by the family. The boy and girl's families arranged the marriage and the boy's family pays a dowry to the girl's family . Its a family decision and the girl doesn't meet the boy until they are married. In relation to this, with modern society I think pre-arranged marriages are no longer widely practiced. So with this I think it's not a problem if her family is okay with their daughter's having a choice of who they want to end up with .

You should definatey get married. You can't help who you fall in love with! You're both muslim, and you can make your relationship stronger by discussing your different cultures and learning about each others cultures. You've got to convince him anout this, and calling him a **** guy isn't exactly doing this! AND its scientifically proven that babies come out healthier if there paprents are two different races :) Good luck xxx

Of course it is okay!
As Muslims, we believe that God (Allah) gave us desires. It is just the natural course of things. It's definitely okay to like a guy before marriage. Otherwise, how will you get married?
What is haraam is a serious relationship without the supervision of an adult.

Sure it's OK to LIKE EACH OTHER-- just don't get too close and get caught!
Things besides heads get cut off all the time for "getting too close".
In the United Kingdom particularly!

as a muslim i can say it is normal. it is just not ok to be intimate with a muslim man before marriage.

i think its humanly impossible\ prob. jus a slim chance 4 her not to like some1 b4 she's married.it could never be wrong but if she begins to get sexual b4.....then its a next story.

She can't be alone with him and they can't date each other. If both parents want them to marry each other than they'll introduce them to each other.
