i agree with james s...DODGEMAN IS a moron atleast about fords we see and he should stick to the dodge threads....

this is why i love ford v8's as opposed to chevy...ford v8's have alot lower compression and handle boost like crazy!! they love boost while most chevys do not handle it as well...you want lower compression on a forced induction motor your BEST thing to do right now and should be the ONLY thing to do right now is take it to get it dyno tuned so you can figure out how much power your actually making and you will get a nice safe tune that will not hurt your motor....
by getting a tune you will gain a large amount of horsepower and torque....your motor looks like it could be starving for fuel and you very well could have a lean air/fuel ratio which is not good....get the dyno tune soon so you dont hurt the motor and can make more power =) hope this helps man

well first off don't listen to the guy that wants you to INCREASE compression on a blown motor, I run the Powerdyne 9# unit, on a 347 stroker motor w/ 9;1 compression (stock is 10:1), blown motors don't like high compression (causes pre-detonation). get the MSD 6al, it has a rev limiter and chips that you can put in for any RPM, I put in the "Trick Flow" NOX system with a 150# shot, a multiple stage MSD ignition timing step retarder (Rolls back the timing when NOX is on), a window switch (only lets the NOX come on when the throttle is floored, and over 3000 RPM, the switch will shut down the NOX at 6000 RPM, I installed a pistol grip shifter and drilled out the center and hooked up the the red "NOX" botton on the shifter with a "Thumb trigger", it's of the "HOOK" sick looking, nobody has hit the "NOX" button because, the car is "scary fast" without even going to the "NOX". I dumped the GT-40 intake, for the "Trick Flow" track heat, I noticed that she has a bit more top end now, and is faster with this induction system but, there is a slight lag before the s/c kicks in, the GT-40 was not as fast at top end but, was smoother with no slight lag before the boost application. You gears look a bit steep for a blown motor, is first gear almost useless if it's a 5 speed ? or do you have an auto tranny ?

For being a certified mechanic, dodgeman's a moron! <<< guess that's why he chose a dodge! Why on earth would you want higher compression on a forced induction motor? It would be hard for me to give you a good estimate on hp. But if I had to guess I would say around the 400 mark. The next upgrade i would do is a cam swap and some 1.6 or 1.7 roller rockers and maybe even a custom burned chip. If money is no object build a low compression 331 or 347 and top it off with that blower then that stang will really move! Good luck my fellow Mustanger!!!!!

properly initially do not pay interest to the guy that needs you to strengthen compression on a blown motor, I run the Powerdyne 9# unit, on a 347 stroker motor w/ 9;a million compression (inventory is 10:a million), blown automobiles do not love extreme compression (factors pre-detonation). Get the MSD 6al, it has a rev limiter and chips that you'll be able to put in for any RPM, I put in the "Trick drift" NOX mindset with a one hundred and fifty# shot, a a pair of level MSD ignition timing step retarder (Rolls again the timing even as NOX is on), a window replace (in uncomplicated words shall we the NOX come on even as the throttle is floored, and over 3000 RPM, the replace will close down the NOX at 6000 RPM, I accepted a pistol grip shifter and drilled out the middle and attached the the pink "NOX" botton on the shifter with a "Thumb set off", this is of the "HOOK" in adverse well being searching, no individual has hit the "NOX" button because, the automobile is "scary quick" without even going to the "NOX". I dumped the GT-40 intake, for the "Trick pass with the pass" video demonstrate warmth, i spoke of that she has somewhat more effective extreme end now, and is faster with this induction gadget in spite of the undeniable fact that, there's a average lag previously the s/c kicks in, the GT-40 change into once now no longer as quickly at suitable end in spite of the undeniable fact that, change into once smoother without basic lag previously than the advance application. You gears look quite steep for a blown motor, is first equipment very virtually ineffective if it would want to be a 5 velocity ? Or do you've gotten an automobile tranny ?

whats up dog, that thing is pretty fast already huh.Well now that u got all that power u need to get it to the pavment right.since u didnt say anything about suspension, that might be my next upgrade.(ponie wise i say roughly around 385-400heavy hitters nice)Now i whould focus back on the motor with maybe a ford e 303 cam and a set of 1.7-1.6 ratio roller rockers. Now if u got enough family jewels inside yourself, install a shoot of juice,55-75hp dry kit. cool bro hope helps.

hey I bet your pushing around 320 you need bigger injectors to keep up with that supercharger I think you would see 345 with a bigger injectors. Summitracing has some

i own a shop, and you can t go much farther with it without increasing he compression on it,id say right now its probably putting out at about 345 ,maybe, that might be over rated a little, but it should be pretty quick, you do anything else your going to have to increase the compression ratio on it,,id say its pretty quick now, with what you have on it,good luck,i hope this help,s.
