Is there much difference in the performance and gas mileage of V6 and I4 engines of 2007 Camry. Are there any other suggestions for a new reliable car in Camry's segment

The 4 cyl. is a better buy .It is better on gas. It needs less maintenance when it gets older . It will last as long or better than anything on the road. I have one , in four years i had NO trouble whatso ever .It's a lot cheaper to buy as well . The only thing i dont like on the new ones is the missing bodyside molding and the standart rear discbrakes ,they can give you trouble if you dont do your maintenance.

I would check out the Chevrolet Malibus, they have a 5 year/100,000 warranty and most of their cars get over 30MPG. And yes a I4 is going to get better fuel mileage then a V6, and as to how much better it just depends on the motor configurations. And the performance between the two motors is going to be noticable, especially when you for example are merging onto the freeway.
