ok well i really like this guy and my best friend likes hima lot too! he wants to ask me out,not her because she is too preppy for him. What do i do...she will be mad if i do go out with him, but i really like him!

well, a few years ago i went through the exact same thing. my friend would ask him out so much, but he really wanted to go out with me. we hated each other for a long time. i had an awakening one day and i realized, what is more important, the guy that may only be there until something better comes along, or your best friend who will be there for longer. its your decision on what you do

Lets' make this clear. If she is a good friend, she'll be happy for you, or at least try not to keep you from dating this guy. But if you really don't want to damage your relationship with her, or if she liked him before you did, maybe it would be best to not get involved with this guy, at least not until your friend can deal with it.
