Yes-
Romans 8:29-30
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified; these He also glorified.

This is actually a pretty sticky subject. The Bible doesn't support that God just chose some of us and not the rest. All you really need to do is think critically for just a moment. (I hope that didn't sound offensive :P ) God says in His word that He is not willing that any shall perish, and if He would pick and choose some and not others, that would go against His own perfect will. He gave us complete free will. Here's a couple examples that can help you understand it a bit better (or at least understand my position :) ) Whenever it says that God "Chose us" replace the word "Us" with "The Church" (In every circumstance that I have run across so far, it has clarified it a lot, and been what the intended meaning was.) Here's an analogy: A comedian always asks for volunteers at his show, but of course he never knows anyone out there. Before he goes on stage he decides he will choose the people that are excited to volunteer, and are jumping out of their seats, instead of the ones that are uninterested. In the same why, God predestined those that would call on Him, to save. I hope this helped clear it up, or understand the other point of view a bit :)

I believe that I am predestined and I also have a free will.
I believe it is true when the Bible says that God has chosen us in Christ before foundation of the world ( Eph 1:4 ). This shows the magnitude of commitment that He has to us, as well as the degree of planning that He has done for each of our lives.
The Bible also says that God has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace and mercy, which was given to us in Christ before the world began.
God cannot learn nor lie, and that is why He knows and respects our choice with free will...whether we follow Him or not. What is the purpose: He wants us to choose for ourselves, find out for ourselves, and know for ourselves how good He is, and then receive the reward from Him that we have earned. That is why He allows freedom of choice. You will have no one to blame for your choices other than yourself when you get to the end of your life here on earth. : )

I know that I am Predestined. For what I am not sure. Right now, I am a happily married mother of one son. That may be my what I am meant for. If so, I accept. I love my being a wife and a mother. And right now, I have a job to do in bringing my husband to the Lord. Pray for Me!!

I believe we were created by and for God. I don't really think we are predestined as people think of the word. God just knows how everything will turn out but we don't.
May God Bless you.

Yes Christians are predestined (by GOD) to live forever, but be careful to not make confusion if you think about the not yet Christians who will still be saved by the LORD JESUS. About the wicked, destiny is the death.

Please read the verses below:
-because whom He did foreknow, He also did fore-appoint, conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be first-born among many brethren; Romans 8:29
-and whom He did fore-appoint, these also He did call; and whom -He did call, these also He declared righteous; and whom He declared righteous, these also He did glorify. Romans 8:30
-having foreordained us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, Ephesians 1:5

All of creation is "predestined" to be with God. That's what He wants, and that's what He's working towards.

Try to put our mind that we have freewill, and I'm so sad if you think you're destined to hell and living like there's no hope. Try to think you're destined to good future and start doing it now.

Predestined to the punishment and torture that is life under the "care" of God.
Yes. God is cruel, insensitive and angry. He (God) wishes to punish His kids. My father is similar, but my dad is not eternal.
God is. Someone help us.
