I think being "insulting" would be more when you're younger, but a guy will definitely play around more when he likes you no matter what the age. Generally adults keep it nice.

Tease, sure. Insult: no. Especially if it occurs regularly. Could you imagine being in a relationship with a guy who does that all day, everyday?

I believe so. Did he insult you and give you a nasty look too? Oh yeah..he is testing the waters..He loves you. He wants to see how you will react.
Of course if it was really hurtful and he didn't realize it when he said it, he certainly will let you know he was sorry. We all say things we wish we hadn't .

Yes when a insecure or immature guy likes you he will insult you. Please note: If the guy is over 20 he should not be insulting you.

Sure, if you live on Mars..or some other planet where insult is an indication of liking someone. I'd say he likes to appease his own insecurity by preying on you.

Sometimes, it depends on the guy. I have actually heard the samething for girls, but as for guys, sometimes they are just retarded and will insult you because they are too afraid to show any emotion.

YEA!! my boy friend now used to insult me up and down almost every other thing he said! i finally just told him to knock off his bullsh*t and ask me out already... he said "ok you caught me... i've liked you forever and just wanted your attention. insulting you was just the easiest way. so how about a movie tomorrow night?" i liked him to and so said yes... that wuz 11 months ago :D

no. if he likes you he might tease you which may feel like insulting.
but feeling insulted is your feeling. you can choose not to feel insulted.
remember, no one can insult you unless you allow them to. you are the only one in control of your feelings.
