Salvation is a process of being harvested.

The Lord’s Harvest is a process of sowing the Word, refining, cleaning, sifting, purification, and separation.

Accepting Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. Believing that He died on the cross for the forgiveness of Sin, Repenting of your sins and knowing in your Heart that God raised him from the Dead.

There is but one to the Father and that is through the Son.

Salvation is the deliverance from the power of sin = redemption.

In the OT, this word sometimes refers to deliverance from danger ( Jer. 15:20 ), deliverance of the weak from an oppressor ( Ps 35:9-10 ), healing of sickness ( Is 38:20 ), and deliverance from blood guilt and its consequences ( Ps 51:14 ).

It could also refer to national deliverance from a military threat ( Ex 14:13 ) or release from captivity ( Ps 14:7 ).

However, I think salvation finds its deepest meaning in the spiritual realm of life. Our universal need and longing for salvation is one of the clearest teachings of the Bible. : )

Salvation: Definition: Preservation or deliverance from danger or destruction. That deliverance may be from the hands of oppressors or persecutors. For all true Christians, Jehovah provides through his Son deliverance from the present wicked system of things as well as salvation from bondage to sin and death. For a great crowd of faithful servants of Jehovah living during “the last days,” salvation will include preservation through the great tribulation.

This is as simple as it gets, accepting Jesus Christ the Son of God for his gift of dieing on the cross to appease God the Father for all your sins, past, present and future. It is called Salvation because without accepting this wonderful gift Jesus has offered you would end up in Hell, a place of fire and torments forever and ever. Jesus has given himself to SAVE you from this awful fate. Read Romans 10:9. There is nothing fancy or ritualistic about being saved. It is as simple as accepting a life changing gift from someone who loves you more than his own flesh. By the way Jesus Christ is the only one who ever lived that can provide this gift because he alone is and was and always will be Gods only perfect, sinnless Son. The blood of God ran through his veins and not the blood of man. Just like you can claim to have no other man's genetics other than your biological. And even if he has 10 other stepsons only you would have his blood line. Only you could pass on that bloodline. Only Jesus can pass on the wonderful gift of God to us of eternal life in light of sins been forgiven.

The word “salvation” means “deliverance from danger or destruction.” True salvation thus involves more than a serene mental state. It means being saved from the destruction of this present wicked system of things and finally from death itself! But just who is it that God will save?

Jesus had a conversation with a Samaritan woman. Although she was not a Jew, she quite correctly believed that the Messiah would come “who is called Christ.” (John 4:25) Was such belief sufficient for her to be saved? No, for Jesus boldly told the woman: “You worship what you do not know.” Jesus knew that if this woman were to gain salvation, she would have to adjust her way of worship. Jesus therefore explained: “Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth.

The Pharisees had built up a system of worship and believed that it had God’s approval. But listen to Jesus’ words to the Pharisees: “You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’”

What about the many religious groups today that claim to believe in Christ? Would Jesus endorse them all as legitimate ways to gain salvation? We do not have to guess in this regard, for Jesus clearly said: “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father.

These words of Jesus indicate that many devout people are failing to ‘do the will of the Father.’ How, then, can one gain true salvation? First Timothy 2:3, 4 answers: “[God’s] will is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth.”

Salvation means being saved from suffering of some kind. In theology, the study of salvation is called soteriology. Salvation is an important concept in several religions. Christianity regards salvation as deliverance from bondage to sin and condemnation.

A condition of the heart; the true belief that Jesus is the Son of God, the true repentance (turning from your old ways), giving God your heart so he can change it, and surrendering to his will.

Salvation is a gift, it is not earned or achieved.

It's not a religious indoctrination.

It's a change of heart.

"Christianity is the best friend of government because Christianity is the only religion that changes the heart."

If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

Salvation is accepting God's invitation to forgive/forget all the wrong we've done.

However, different groups of Christians believe that you accept it different ways and show it by doing different tasks.

Salvation refers to God's gift to man of eternal life. Its all about his love, grace and mercy that we as sinners were so unworthy of. But according to the Bible, if we acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the son of God and make him the Saviour of our life and live for him, we will have eternal life in heaven one day instead of the eternal damnation that awaits many people in hell bacause they reject God in this world. Are you saved? If not then turn to God while you have the chance cause one day you WILL have to bow before God. All roads does not lead to God and to get to heaven, we must be saved.
