Well, it's certainly unhealthy; aluminum does not belong IN the body.

Secondly, it's "gross" because if you chew it and have old-fashioned metal fillings, it FEELS WEIRD.

If you're chewing aluminum, consider taking vitamins...you may deficient in something!

Because it's not edible. If you have old style fillings in your teeth, it's like having electricity running through your jaws. I wouldn't advise anyone to chew aluminum foil. Go do 20 pushups

It reacts with your fillings and sparks at your nerves, if you have no fillings it just tastes bad.
