If the comments are directed at you, you might consider whether these are truly bf/gf's. Clearly there is some lack of respect at work if these comments are being made. Real friends respect one another's feelings.

You must lead by example. Try kindness first, if the remarks continue, then pause and look at the person's character.
An enlightened human being is not malicious nor does he or she rejoice in the shortcomings of others.

You are too young to begin putting up with bad behavior in a dating relationship. Tell the nut not to call any more and to grow up before he really makes a fool of himself... and be glad that you learned what he was like before you got more invested in one another. Move "MATURITY" up a few places on your "guys I'm interested in" checklist ;-)

I would kindly confront them each time and clear it up. Tell them to stop. If they continue, I would find real friends. Your gf/bf should not allow that either.

Tell them to shut the F up that way they will be intimidated by you.
Or you can be all nice about it, and let them say stuff in front of you all the time.

I'm blunt and don't believe in turning the other cheek...I'd hit them over the head with a hammer, figuratively not literally of course. ;-)

Tell him how the comments make you feel and tell him to stop. If he doesn't then ***** slap him.

It really would depend on the "snide" comment. Was it about you, someone you love, your faith, etc?

I wouldn't put up with it, I would call them on it. Get it out into the open, like, "Do you have a problem with me? Because if you do, spit it out."
