DO NOT DO IT. you should only get pierced in a professional studio where people are licensed because having the needle be sterile is incredibly important. if the jewelry and needle is not passed through an autoclave IT IS NOT STERILE, despite what your friend might tell you. Getting pierced with an unsterile needle could result in you contracting HIV as a worst case scenario or you could get an infection. If the infection is left untreated it may spread which may end up being life-threatening. Wait until you can get it done professionally.

Do not do it! Wait until you can get it done right. A piercer will bring out a new needle and know exactly what to do. Your friend, even from a "sterile" kit doesn't. Don't put your body at risk just to get a piercing. I've gotten all but my lobes done with a hollow needle in a shop and that was the best choice I ever made. The gun isn't safe either. Call a shop and check out your local piercing laws. All you may need is a parent or guardians signature at a shop. The only mistake would be getting it done at home and having a massive infection occur. The odds of having problems are cut in half if done properly at a shop, not to mention the healing time is about half as long. Talk to your mom about getting it done in a shop, I'm sure she will appreciate your thoughtfulness to think about your personal health. If she says no do not get someone over 18 to sign for you, that is illegal if it is done at all. Good luck!

I'd say no. There are too many possibilities for a future infection to develop, as it will not be done by a professional in a sterile environment. I'm not even saying you need to wait until you're of legal age to go into a tattoo and piercing parlor, as you can easily get away with it at about 15 or 16, but atleast wait until then.

oh for the love of all that is holy..please don't! People pay professionals to do that for them for a reason. You could seriously hurt yourself because you don't know what you're doing. Are all of the instruments sterlized in an autoclave and packaged properly? Do you have sterile gloves? Do you have a clean place to do it. Does you friend know anything about human anatomy?
yeah, I didn't think so.
Use your head sweetie. Chances are, your friend is going to mess up...and even if you do manage to get some jewelry in it, she probably won't do it the right way and it'll get infected or your body will reject it...and you'll be in pain..and you'll have a hideous scar on your navel.
Trust me honey, you should wait.

Don't do it.If you want one go somewhere and have a professional do it. I have seen to many people get serious infections from having anyone do it.But 13 is still a little to young. Wait for about 3 years, your belly isn't going anywhere.

PLZ DO NOT DO THIS!!! My god, so many things could go wrong! You are way to young to do this safely at home, you could get infections, you could peirce it wrong which could result in ugly scarring or serious damage to your body, all which has ALOT of pain. If you say you wont get in trouble for doing it then go to a peircing place that is profession and specialise in this, this is very dangerous
