Some do, yeah, especially when they go around talking about how no one but Christians can have morals, real love, or raise a child properly. Grrr. But you seem to be trying to be nice, I think...=0)

that's a stereotype. it incredibly is greater straightforward to settle for those form of rumors than to look at and discover out the veracity of the claims. i'm a Christian- yet i understand that i'm not greater effective than any non-Christians. Nor are they greater effective than me. i think of that human beings have a deep experience of craving for know-how. i think of that we could desire to have confidence in something larger than ourselves. we could choose what gods to worship: funds, recognition, exhilaration, nutrition and wine, cloth products, etc. I in specific circumstances commit idolatry by using worshiping funds and automobiles. i'm the furthest being you are able to think of from perfection. I make blunders each and all the time. even if there is easily a distinction between what i think as against what non-Christians have confidence, we are all human beings, with frailties and comparable desires for romance and attractiveness. i understand particularly some atheists that are very own pals of mine, and that they are stunning human beings. I additionally understand some self-proclaimed Christians, and that they are actually not stunning human beings. there is nice and undesirable in each thing.

I don't know about "better"
... But I believe they think they are "More correct" then anyone who is a non-Christian.
That is centric to the teaching- correct? If you don’t' accept Christ, you are "WRONG"- since Christ is "RIGHT"
So, logically, if you accept Christ, how can you fail to be "More Correct" then someone who does not?
Human nature explains the rest of it away. How many people in ANY faith do you know that say:
"Yea, I pray to the god Humanganawa, but I am dead wrong. Wrong wrong wrong."
Or
"I don’t' believe in God, but I'm wrong!”
It just doesn't happen.
Now, my thoughts are- what of belief systems out there that say "EVERYONE IS RIGHT". (I know some new-ager's out there that believe that every religion is correct in it's own way.)
Are they the only ones who deserve to say "I'm more correct because YOU are also correct?"

As a Borh Again Believer in Christ I can tell you that it a fundamental teaching that God loves all the same and that His Love is to shine through us to others. Whoever they may be. Jesus loves all of us that he became the perfect sacrifice so that everyone can have eternal life with Him in Heaven. And we can do this by following the formula in Acts 2:38!!

I'm sure some Christians do. I'm sure other groups of people think they are better than everyone else also. No one is better than everyone else. A true Christian, Jew, and etc would realize this.

Some christians, definitely. You see it in their answers. Or (for example) in George Bush senior saying that atheists are not citizens or patriots.
But these are the exceptions fortunately. They just give the others a bad name.

They shouldn't. The Bible says all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. That includes Christians and non alike. We're not perfect just forgiven.

I think that some Christians believe they are better than everyone else.
I also think there are some atheists, some Muslims, some Pagans, some Jews, some (insert group here) who believe that they are better than everyone else.
Individuals are just that - individuals.

Well, as a Christian, it's my job to say no.
But yeah, most of us do. Most of us are self-righteous jerks who forget that God is Love.
However, some are working towards loving instead of judging, helping instead of snubbing, and looking like Christ instead of looking down on others.
Sorry if you've had a bad experience with one of my brothers or sisters in Christ (To use an incredibly cliched phrase. Can't escape the Southern Baptist roots...). Please know that we're not about that.

We don't become Christians by being better or claiming to be better. That contradicts the Bible. Jesus rebuked those who thought that they were better and provided Christianity as an alternative to their hypocrisy. A person who has become a Christian by 'being better' is no Christian.
