Hi Test. You get some 'interesting' answers on this site.
It is true that heart cancer is rare. This is because cancer develops in cells that are replicating. Heart muscle cells are called 'post-mitotic cells' because in adults they no longer replicate themselves (mitosis is the process of cell replication). Since carcinogenesis almost always requires cell replication to develop a tumor, heart muscle cells rarely develop a cancer.
This is also true for other 'post-mitotic', non-replicating cells; such as skeletal muscles and neurons in the central nervous system. For example, brain cancer in adults almost never occurs in the neurons, but rather, in the replicating cells in the brain that are a part of the brain's immune system, such as the astrocytes (an astrocytoma).
The most common tissues for cancers are the epithelial tissues because these cells replicate frequently; thus they are much more susceptible to cancer.

There are primary heart cancers and secondary cancers that travel to the heart. I don't know why so many people believe that the heart is safe from cancer. It's just not true.
Cancer of the heart is rare, but it happens and is often called Cardiac Sarcoma.
eMedicine: Cardiac Sarcoma

The most common heart cancer is called Angiosarcoma. It is an aggressive tumor that occurs in the lining of blood vessels and can begin anywhere in the skin, soft tissue, bone, liver, and heart.

All cells are vulnerable to cancer. Cancer is an overproduction of cells that poison the body. No part is safe and cancer can take any body part for itself.

All cancer is is a mutation in the genetic information that your cells would regularily have. This mutation makes the, divide at an alarming rate and they do nothing for your body, in other words, cancer takes all the energy from you and does nothing in return. So, of course the heart is vulnarable to cancer, it is made of cells so it will be.
