Not for now. You only need a passport if you fly. You will need your license though.

No, for some reason they let guys on motorcycles come over the border with no ID. Just kidding. It's best to have a passport with you for any international travel - especially since 9/11. Be careful - you might not be able to get back into the US without one - the laws are changing. I think at the moment you can get across with a drivers license but that is slated to change in a year or two. Arrivals by air or sea must have a passport - read the paper occasionally.

No.
For now, you only need a passport if you're flying between Canada and the US. This is a new law in place since January 2007.
In the future (+/- 2008) you will need a passport for all travel between Canada and the US.
Enjoy your trip. We have a great country for a motorcycle trip (in the summer.... too much snow now!)

I believe you only need a passport if traveling by air to Canada. Next year in 2008 is when passports will be needed to enter Canada. Travel by road you need 2 valid pieces of ID (picture id for sure) This is what is required from us Canadians traveling to the USA. Best of luck , hope you enjoy your stay!

You need to have a passport to travel by AIR between the US and Canada, But I think it's not until Fall that they are requiring passports for road travel as well. I'd double check though, you're really at the mercy of the customs officer if you don't have one.

What makes you think of you are able to shuttle to the US at 15 and not using a passport? you will no longer get in, so there heavily is not any situation approximately getting back into Canada, given which you will no longer have left.
