I don't watch the Simpsons or Futurama, but I laugh when other shows make fun of religion. I mean, I'm a Christian, but some Christians are insane. I love jokes about backwards Southern Baptist rapturists. (Hey-I can laugh at them, I know them!)
But vulgar religious jokes, not so much. Funny, yes; vulgar, no.

As a Christian I don't watch any of these shows. I have changed the way I look at things. I don't laugh at sin. It shows disrespect to adults, and children a like. I don't watch anything over pg. If it has swearing on it. I change it. I don't need to hear profanity. I am not perfect, but I have changed the way I look at things, and listen to things. I will not even listen to dirty jokes. I look at it this way. Would God be happy with what I am watching or listening too. If I can say no. Then I don't watch it.

Did you ever hear the producers of those shows say that they were anti-religious?
Careful now, there are laws against defamation of character, libel, and slander.
My guess is that even if they saw your comment, you wouldn't be important enough to bother with.
National Education Association (NEA): "Hate crimes and violent acts are defined as offenses motivated by hatred against a victim based on his or her beliefs or mental or physical characteristics, including race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation."

Maybe the shows have a point and believers must change their ways. Ironically, it hurts when the truth was revelead from the unexpected things, maybe we should noticed that before unbelievers do.

It probably depends which type. Fundamentalist christians wouldn't like them at all. But some christian would probably find them funny. Christians have many different beleifs and of course some christians dont beleive other christians are really christians.

No...I try not to watch anything that is anti-christian, but I have heard some anti-religious jokes on TV before and my reaction has always been to change the channel.

It depends on what the joke is. Sure, sometimes, if it's against some religious-organization stuff, but against God, then no.
