Atheists tend to understand theists better, because many atheists WERE theists earlier in life. I don't think theists understand atheists as well. Whenever someone asks a question to Christians about why "non-believers" reject God, usually the majority of them get it wrong. They say that atheists are just being rebellious, or that they don't want to submit to someone higher than themselves, or they're afraid to accept God because they think they're not worthy, or they're mad at God because they had bad childhoods... the list goes on. Many don't know the real answers.

I'm a God believer. 1. Definetly not bitter. 2.Your an atheist because you don't want accountabilty for your conscience. 3. You ask questions cause you want to feel that you can justify your beliefs. 4. You might not call out to God at the end, cause the truth will be hidden from you. A true atheist doesn't exist, cause you cannot know for sure if there is no God, therefore you are really an agnostic. If there is no God, where did matter come from. If it pre-existed how did life come from it. There is no proof of Evolution, none. If you could sit on the Earth for 2million years, I would like you to see how many cars that accidently fall from the sky, homes being accidently build, oh yeah and somehow we came from rocks colliding together that magically were there. So how do I know God exist, its evident. Yes maybe this is a video game, and such, but even still there has to be a maker. Or maybe its cause I tried to seek the truth, and the spirit of God came inside me. A true Christian always will be a Christian cause its a fact to him, Just like we know fire is hot no matter what someone might tell us. So I know how did God get here? Can you count from - infinity to + infinity nope if numbers and space have no ending why should God be bound by them. Theory of Relativilty proves time doesn't exist. But don't take my word for it. Have as much fun sinning as you like, but don't be suprised after you die, If your standing before God, and he judges you for of your sin. You will have no chance. Jesus came to the Earth for a reason , and rose again from the dead. If there was no God, what human had the ability to conjure up the idea. Try making up a new color in your mind impossible. Half the people that claim to be Christians aren't. Why because they believe that God is all merciful, and they can live however they please and be forgiven. True you can be forgiven of all things, but if your not trying to stop sin, then you are false. So there is no suprise if these so called christians follow your outline.

To add to the confusion, this believer in God understands the Atheist very well but has trouble understanding the Christian point of view.

what a great question, well id have to say they would both be equally as confused as each other i mean a god believer would be absolutely outraged that there are people out there that don't believe in god they would pray for you and be saddened by the whole thing whereas an Atheist would think a god believer to be a fool for believing, but not really think much more of it unless the god believer become irritating and annoying trying to drill religion into them, so i guess they'd both be confused but in totally different ways

The majority of atheists/non-Christians were RAISED Christian and found out that it was false, so they understand both sides and choose to remain where they are.
Christians that were raised Christian and never questioned anything have never had any experience outside of Christian influence, and therefore cannot comprehend an atheistic/agnostic viewpoint.
So if one understands both sides of the story and the other refuses to even consider anything but their own opinion, which do you think has more reason?

Considering atheists are asked a million times a day what we believe and what we're about...and so often what is believed of us does not come from US...I'd say believers are more confused...
Maybe atheists who are good people, conflicting with some people being taught that we are awful...maybe that confuses...

I understand Atheists because I used to be one. I am now a Christian who can see both sides because I have been there.

I dont need to understand God believers, I already know that they are delusional. They believe God interferes in their lives, answers prayers and performs miracles.
And yet he never heals those with broken necks and amputated or deformed limbs.
I believe in a supreme being who made the universe and then left the galaxy, never to return.

Depends on the person. I was an atheist prior to becoming a Christian so I totally understand where they're coming from.
