I moved to Prague four months ago, but my body doesn't seem to be adapting. Every week, at least once or twice, I find myself racing to find a bathroom.

If I take Imodium, it's ok that day, but is there something I can eat that will help me in the long run? Why hasn't this gotten better in four months? Isn't your body supposed to adapt to new conditions?

You need to see a doctor,. Something in your diet or the water does not agree with your digestive system. You need to make sure you don't have viral or bacterial gastroenteritis.

I'm sure it's because of water and food. You have to get used to new conditions.
Try mint tea or medications. Usually I take Smecta or Nifuroksazit (but I don't know if they are international medications).

Anyway, go to the doctor to check it. 4 months is a lot time.

I would go to a doctor because you may have malaria or something. It could be the water. It may also be some underlying condition like IBS or Chrons disease. I hate diarrhea. Good luck

4 months is too long to have a problem like the one you've described.I would suggest that you see a MD to get diagnosed and treated. Take care. SW RNP
