27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

(King James Bible, Matthew)
Jews say the account registered above is false because no historian registered such an awesome and mind blowing event in Jewish history.

4:23 For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over: 4:24 That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.

(King James Bible, Joshua)

Egyptian history equally has no documentation of the above account.

There is no hidden meaning. The bible was written by PEOPLE, and no God had anything to do with it.

The Jews do not recognize the New Testament. Only the old Testament. So whatever was written in the New they do not want to hear.
As far as the Egyptians, I do not know and I will not pretend that I do. However, Ignorance knows no bounds. We as Christians do indeed believe what the Scriptures say and we have faith that every word written in the Bible is an accurate account which has stood time itself.

What appears to be missing is the evidance outside of a religious text that those events occured.

If a claim is going to be made that some super natural event occured then there should be witnesses to this event outside of the religions texts!

The problem with the bible is for all the grand claims when it comes to proving what they say the responce comes up have faith.
You can not use have faith or God said so as proof for your claims! Find imperical evidance or stop making grand claims!

Nothing is hidden if you want to know, ask. If God can make a donkey talk and bless Bill Gates with 55 billion because of an idea, believe me he will answer you if you ask. King James, NIV, Koran, Torah, or the back of a milk carton, if God wants to reveal himself to you, I got a pretty good idea that he will.

Believe me we have are hands full already with the not so hidden word from God to keep us busy. I prefer to try to obey what the word clearly says. That would be more beneficial.

Unfortunately, the Bible is subject to a lot of different concept of interpretation.

General observation. Good (average) is good enough. Few seek (for themselves) to go on to excellence.
