My BF just left this past Tuesday for Lackland,TX. He's a heavy pot (marijuana) smoker so I don't know how he even got in. I read on the about site that everyone in basic gets tested within the first 72 hours. Is this true? Is there mandatory testing for everyone? Theres no way he can pass a drug test if he's given one, so I'm just wondering if and when he will be kicked out. Today would be 72 hours since he left. What happens if he gets kicked out?
Any insight is much appreciated!! Thank you in advance!

On his second day of training, your boyfriend is going to get a rude awakening. That's the day his flight goes to Medical/Dental Processing, and that's where they will take both blood and urine samples from him. If there is any trace of illegal narcotics in either specimine, your beloved will be in violation of his enlistment contract and they will boot his butt right out.

He'll be home in about two weeks.

yep, its true for everybody, its mandatory. well, if he gets kicked out, he won't be able to claim any of his benefits. the Air Force has a new Zero Tolerance rule set up. It will be very quick before he gets the boot. its to bad, he could of really made a good life for himself.

Then he will fail. The Military does golden flow quite often and quite unexpected. If he gets kicked out he will get a ticket home.

Yep, at basic you do a few medical exams, if he has a trace of drugs in his system they will find it.
