Of course. Nobody's family is perfect though, and we can never really know the heart of men, but they will be known by their fruit. It's really not our job to be the church police, but rather we can only live by the example we hold to be sacred, Jesus.

There will always be hypocrites, but don't worry about them. Live your life the way that you know that you are meant to. God sees all and knows what is in your heart. He will not look upon sin with tolerance. He hates a hypocrite. He will not know them at Judgment Day. They will have to answer to their maker then. Try and resist from judging though, least ye be judged and found wanting. There's nothing thatyou can do about hypocrites except to ignore them and get on with your own agenda. Live what is true. grow spiritually in what you believe to be the truth. Are you still looking for the truth? Check LDS.org. Love

I'm one of the hypocrites. The Church has since it's founding been a hospital for sinners. What other organization retells the story of it's first leader betraying the founder?

You can pray for them that they turn from the error of their way and stop judging them. You will have enough to keep you busy trying to get yourself to behave in a godly manner. God wants our eyes on him not on the faults of others. Perhaps when you take the plank from your own eye, you can see clearly enough to help those who may be hypocritical. They need love and someone who can humbly lead them not just by words but by actions.
Lets all keep growing up in Christ.

It's easy to sort out the hypocritical Christians from the genuine Christians---"you will know them by their fruits"---the hypocrites are the ones who obey St.Paul--are heavily into finger-pointing & condemning others--& the genuine ones are those obey Christ--who cease seeing sin in others---& treat all as they themselves would like to be treated.

Love is patient and kind.
Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.
Love does not demand its own way
Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of wrongs
Love is never glad about injustice but rejoices when the truth
wins out.
Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
I think we all have a long way to go!

I am. It's not that I expect them to be perfect, but to at least practice what they preach instead of condemning the rest of us for doing this or that when they're doing it themselves. It does make the particular group of Christians they're associated with look bad.

There are hypocrites in every walk of life, and generally, they are that way because they are in conflict within themselves. They can only change that if they want to.
