If it was me that was borrowing and lost/got the bike ripped off, I'd buy him a better bike. Good for you, pacific bikes are pretty cheap, so buying almost anything (except for a magna) will probably put you in a better bike range.

try ebay, but start by looking at a local bike shop. its february now, and perhaps some bike shops may have a closeout still around from 2006.

Well, tell him Pacific Bikes are simply INFERIOR, have lackluster and substandard equipment and ultimately SUCKS! I suggest he take a GOOD look at the KONA KIKAPU ($600!) or the Kikapu de luxe ($900! ) at WHEELWORLD (www.wheelworld.com)----they are COOL, got the best gear that make PACIFIC look like ZOMBIES on wheels-----tell your friend to buy a KILLER rig, not a CHEAP department store ripoff!

Check you local pawn shops, if you find it, call the police and tell them which pawn shop it is at. Don't call the pawn shops, walk in, you do not want to alert the management so that they can stash it. The could get in trouble for receiving stolen merchandise

eBay or bike shops with a big store. they might have it in inventory still.
