Christianity. Both Christians and Satanists believe in deities that deserve worship, atheists do not even believe in God(s).

-Please ignore the answer above mine, he has no idea what he is talking about. Atheists by definition do not believe in God(s), this INCLUDES Satan.

Christianity. Satanism is a belief in the supernatural so is the complete opposite of atheism. Whereas it's just the flip side of the coin for Christianity (in which Satan plays a role).

Satanism is more similar to Christianity, by my reasoning.

If I'm not mistaken, Satanism acknowledges the power of Satan, as Christians acknowledge the power of God. Atheism acknowledges no higher power.

Also, some of the most horrific crimes have been done in the name of Satan and in the name of God. You don't see too many massacres in the name of "no higher power".

From my experience, Satanism follows more atheistic tendencies in that they seek to eliminate ignorance, but to believe in Satan implies a belief in Christianity, logically.

Atheism is anti-religion, whereas Satanism is anti-God.

It's more like a combination of Humanism, Atheism, and Hedonism. It has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. LaVeyan or Modern Satanists don't believe in ANY Gods or supernatural beings. Don't listen to any of the dumbasses who try to tell you otherwise. I've researched this subject, and at one time, considered becoming a LaVeyan Satanist myself.

Atheists do no longer "deny" God. Denial or disbelieving implies a unsuitable refusal to nicely known that God is genuine, while an atheist, or a minimum of a superb atheist, asserts truthfully that no deities exist, subsequently any dogma related to right here of a undeniable deity is fake and unsuitable. subsequently there would be no devil, and no Satanism for an atheist. Atheists do no longer "placed themselves in the previous God" as God does no longer exist.

Christianity.
without Christianity there would be no Satanism since it is against everything Christians are for.

HMMMM. GOOD QUESTION. I FEEL IT IS PROBABLY A LOT LIKE CHRISTIANITY. ATHEISM IS JUST A BELIEF. A BELIEF THAT THERE IS NO GOD. THERE ARE NO RITUALISTICS INVOLVED. CHRISTIANITY IS BELIEFS AND PRACTICES AS IS SATANISM. CHRISTIANITY IS THE WORSHIP OF GOD, SATANISM IS THE WORSHIP OF SATAN. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.
