Everyone(believers and non-believers) can tell the difference between the Christians that walk the talk they talk, and those who don't. i will agree that Christan's that are closer to God are more peaceful and have things working for them in a real and tangible way. the "fake" Christians that you are talking about, the ones that get angry about every little piece of doctrine or are horrified by honest questions asked by a non-believers that they can't answer, are unfortunately immature and need to crack their Bible open a little more often and pray for those that haven't turned their heart to God yet.

They all beleive in a supernatural being, or at least pretend to. Technically I am a Christian as I was too young to form an opinion and had not yet learned to speak when I was baptised. If I had kown what was going on I'd have surely told them all to get a life. Its such a ridiculous concept and merely invented as a means to control the masses back when the church had a lot of political power behind it. Nowadays it just comes across as utter bollox to anyone with half a brain. Only the easily led or emotionally unstable seem to buy into it. give us a break. Do you really expect some hypothetical entity to solve all your problems for you if you 'praise Him' enough? Honestly, Religion in all forms is far more trouble than its worth. Christianity included. The bible is responsible for more violent deaths than any other book in history, and its mostly fiction. Maybe in the far distant future many lives will be lost because of Harry Potter or Winnie the Pooh, but I seriouslly doubt it. I think we'll have acheived more common sense by then.

I think there are some misguided Christians, but it's not fair to judge and make that determination when you don't really know someone's heart or their relationship with the Lord.
There are the extremes...people who use religion/Christianity to get over on others, i.e. Hitler, Jim Jones, etc., but the vast majority of us are not like that.
We all fall short. Christianity is a journey and all of us are at different places on that journey. Some of us also have baggage that we are carrying around that causes us to be bitter, angry, mean-spirited or depressed. The best thing we can do is support each other, uplift each other and pray for one another.

Yes, you are correct! I am not a Christian. I actually like the few real Christians I've met. They do indeed have an inner peace about them and are all smiles and serenity. I guess they are like the true believers of any religion, they are not hypocrites. They do speak to others of their faith, but they do not shove it down others' throats. These true Christians are rare, unfortunately.

Your observervation seems like it would be right and Christians are to have peace, joy and produce fruit however it is hard for any one to judge between the mind and the heart and Jesus always goes by the heart not what people look like to others. Jesus himself advised that it was so hard to tell that the angels in the time of a person death [harverst] would be taken to his barn [if they are wheat] in heaven or would be burnt [if they are chaff, darnel or here below referred to as weeds]. Wheat and darnel/chaff/weed look the same however the wheat is solid and heavy but the darnel/chaff/weed is light outwardly appearing the same as the wheat but the darnel/chaff/weeds have no weigh to them.
MT 13:24-30 Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
"The owner's servants came to him and said, `Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?'
`An enemy did this,' he replied. "The servants asked him, `Do you want us to go and pull them up?' `No,' he answered, `because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.' "

Man judges by the outward appearance, but God judges by the heart.
Not all truly born again believers grow at the same rate as others do and while their tactics or even their outlook on different issues
can differ. it is GOD who knows who truly belongs to Him and who does not.
Some truly born again people belong to different denominations and sincerely hold different viewpoints on things, including, I am sure, the issue of witnessing.
Jesus said that He knows HIS sheep and that they follow Him.
Some people can be legalistic and some aren't.
Read Romans 14.
Some people attend Christian churches regularly, but have never
made Jesus their personal Lord and Savior and some churches
don't even TELL their people about the most IMPORTANT choice
that they will make -- and that is where they are going to spend their eternity and some believe that because their parents were Christians and/or they got baptized when they were infants, that they are all set for heaven when they really aren't, and so you really can't make any assumptions.
You need to check out God's Word for the TRUTH of whatever you might hear. Ask them where it is in the bible.
Ever hear of Jim Jones and the mass suicide in South America in 1978???
You really have to be so very, very careful -- and I am not trying to
scare you or anything, really, or to discourage you.
Here is the # for 7OO club. Please call. 1-800=759=-700.
The most important thing that you can do FOR YOU is to make sure that you are ready for heaven and not let the mistakes of others keep you from receiving Jesus as your Savior.
May God bless you!!

Yes, although we are saved by grace alone, we must repent and trust in Jesus as both Savior and Lord. The result is the fruit of the Spirit. Jesus said that you will know a tree by its fruit. While no Christian is perfect this side of Heaven, a true Christian will not deliberately live a sinful lifestyle. See 1 John 1. www.equip.org

Yes. I can. It is a frustrating thing, to know that those surrounding you are liars. Living in a false world - yet there is nothing you can do about it. The ones who profess so strongly are the 'fake Christians'. They need everyone to see them, to look at them. Real Christians don't need that. It is apparent in the way that they are. I am truly sorry for that they have unleashed on this earth. Lives filled with lies because people simply will never open their minds to anything else.

Yes you are right in the observation, Most People who are believers grasp the good side of life and are caring and have purpose in life and follow their religions in the right way, Others are hypocrites and find religion gives them some sort of power over others they take the bible lliterally instead of seeing it as story with unlined guidelines in which to put our lives on the right path in faith, There has always been hypocrasy in religion thoughout history where people have used it to make themselves powerful and controlling, It has caused wars where people can not eccept others beliefs which is crazy as all religions believe in the same thing whether they chose to practise differently and that is Good Over Evil,

Actually I think you have never been more wrong in your observation. What you have to realize is that Christians were humans before they came to Christ, meaning they all have different makeups, different ways of responding, reacting, etc. While they may not all act and talk like you do, that in no way makes them any less Real than you, just different. And I might add, 99.9% of the Real Christians you think you know, you don't see them all the time.
