I love the kids' valentine idea that is really cute.

One thing I have always thought would be cute is to go to a carnival photobooth and talk to her about how much you love her during the first shot or two then pull out the ring and maybe a sign that says will you marry me. Then you have a picture with her immediate excitement and awe.

It would be super cute and only cost like 3bucks and give you a great momento

Valentines day is so...idunno everyone does it. Make it a little more surprising wait til 1200 and do it or the next day then she really wont expect it. That would make her day. I know its valentines day and its the most romantic day of the year. Ok whenever your with ur significant other that should be the most romantic day of the year not a day when your forced to buy something. Its all up to you.,.......good luck and congrats.

I am not sure where you live and what the weather is like but if it permits then I would suggest a romantic picnic at a park or open field. If not then this is another suggestion...decorate your apartment with heart shaped construction paper asking her to marry you. Hang them from the ceiling everywhere with many different colors. Ask her to come over and watch her surprise! This will cost you the $3.00 for the paper and time but I think you will get a nice reaction from it. Good luck!

Just propose - the words are more important than gestures. Words mean much more than flowers and other stuff. Take her for a romantic walk to the park or just ask her to come to your place and do it! I'm sure it'll be fine.
Congrats & good luck!

see if the local new channel will give you a spot on the 6p.m. evening news cast. Where they would come and tape your proposal and play it for you. So you could be with your woman, just pretending to watch the news. When the proposal aires.

Do a simple scavenger hunt and give her clues to where you hid the ring and when she finds it, do a special proposal. She should love it!

Give it to her in a little tiny elementary school valentine package. It will be funny and cute.

I don't think she will care if you have anything else to go with it or not. Cook a nice little dinner for two if you really want to get fancy.

All I can tell you from personal experience is don't do it while the cops are taking you away for an outstanding warrant......
