I have accepted Gods free Gift, and through that have come to know God's forgiveness.

I can't answer these two questions because I don't know if you have done either of those things.

Oh! you meant me?!
I don't need to believe that some being greater than me has forgiven me when I do wrong. I only need to make it up to the people I have wronged and to myself.

The idea that one can ask to be forgiven and still act like an intolerant close-minded bigot is one of the things that caused me to steer clear of Christianity. There is just something innately wrong with someone with a bumper sticker that says "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven" Who flips you the bird when they almost swerve into you because they are talking on a cell phone.

I didn't have to take a gift of eternal life, or even mutual life for that matter. As a pagan I believe that all life has the same gift of life, the spark from the Divine, we've all had it since birth.

Everyone has already been forgiven by God. Christ Jesus was came to earth to give us that.
You dont take, or accept Gods 'free' gift. Eternal life is something that he gives you. its not your choice. Just as it is not your choice to become a Christian when you did. Its all God, so give HIM all the Glory. HE is sufficient.
