I bought a new car yesterday and today while I was taking my daughter to the local amusement center someone backed into it and left no note and I couldnt find anyone who had seen what happened...

I reported it to security, but they said they could do nothing and the security camera that I purposely parked near was not working...

Is there anything that I can do about this? There is about $1000 worth of damage and Im not looking forward to paying for it all...

This will be covered under a Comprehensive claim, if you have that coverage. B4 you call your insurance, check your policy to see if you have that coverage and what deductibles you have on it. I would be very suprised if they raised your rate by filing this claim, so you really have nothing to lose.

File a report with the police for a hit, and run.. Often they will take the report right over the phone, or in some cases you can fill one out online. Most insurance companys require a report for a hit, and run... Then I would suggest contacting your insurance, and filing a claim with them.. If you just purchased the veh im assuming that you have comp, and coll on the veh... So this is the type of claim where your collision coverage would come into play... As long as your not at fault in an accident your rates will not, and should not go up...

You should've called the cops on the spot, and reported hit-and-run accident. Now it's too late but you still should do that. It's possible that your insurance company will hike your premiums because at this point you can't prove that you had not rearended somebody. Suing the amusement center may not be feasible - talk to a lawyer but I think that $50/6 mo premium increase is cheaper than that.

This would be a collision claim. You are going to have to make a claim against your insurance and then pay your collision deductible to the body shop that does the work. Your insurance company will take care of the balance.

first and foremost, you need to report the crime to the police. they will give you a case number so that you may then deal with the insurance company.
you will probably pay your deductable out of your own pocket but the rest will be covered in the insurance plan.....i hope. that depends on what you were willing to pay for when you bought insurance.

What else would there be to do? Theres no witnesses/suspects/the security camera wasnt working. You are going to have to either go through your insurance or pay out of pocket.

If you bought a new car yesterday hopefully you also put full coverage insurance on it. So turn it in to the insurance and get it fixed.

How do you know it's about a thousand worth of damage?Don't try and guess at theese things, they are often more expensive than you think.
You have no other choice but to either report it to your insurance or live with it.

there is quite not something you are able to imagine of to do because you probably did not see who it became and there became no man or woman who said something so that you're in a gap there, so in case you are able to fix the wear and tear do exactly and get in touch with an experience and next time park you motor vehicle as far as obtainable from different parkers.

either report it to the police and your insurance company or pay for it yourself because whoever hit it could possibly live in another state
