I'm on jdate.com and have been exchanging emails with a girl who's 23, (I'm 25 male). Today, I asked her if she would like to talk on the phone and she said she would be happy to and right before giving her phone number (which she did do), she wrote this: "I tend to be pretty busy during the week so I am going to try and take it easy this weekend." Is this implying I am OK with calling her tonight, or am I better off calling sometime this weekend?

Call her this weekend or tonight It means while she's usually very busy, this weekend she'll be home- doing nothing! Implying that she's open! Call tonight or Saturday afternoon.

I think she mean it is okay to call this weekend not tonight because she said she is busy so that means she is too busy to be talking on the phone which would be wasting her time.

Call her during the week, but keep it short and learn to take hints if she really isnt in the mood for long conversation. Be prepared for hours of phone conversation on the weekend.

After meeting a girl and getting her phone number, I don't call her for 1 day at least. That is, I get the phone number Friday and I call Sunday.

hmm... i guess to most the weekend starts Friday evening, but she did not imply whether this applied to her or not. i suppose to be safe call her tonight and if she says she seems busy or straight out tells you "I'm busy" you know that tomorrow is anoter, and better day.

Call her tonight, if she is going to be busy on the weelend call her now. she gave you her phone number, don't wait, call her.... she will appriciate it and will probably invite you to the party...enjoy your weekend....take care Heather

You shouldn't bother trying to calculate it like that.
Just pick up he phone and when sh answes say you just wanted to say hello. I f she is busy then she will say so and you can arrange a better time.
Relax, it's meant to be fun.

Call her when you feel the time is right, just dont be to overly rushed, also offer her your number when you speak. See if she calls you.
