I prayed to have a little girl but ended up with two boys. I am so happy that it turned out that way because I look at the difference between my kids and my sisters two little girls. Girls seem to need so much more attention and they whine so much more. Your mom loves you just the way you are.Don't take any offense to the way she feels.

I would want one of each. I have a 2 yr old son, and 34wks preggo with girl, so I got my wish. Really as long as they are healthy it doesnt matter, but if I had another I would want a boy, or if I did have 3 of the same I would have to say boys only because girls are soooooooo expensive. I havent even had her yet and I am already buying her stuff for the next 3 to 4 yrs of her life. With girls you cant help but be like that, so with boys atleast I wouldnt be broke.

My personal experience is that girls are "easier" to raise than boys but I'm not "done" yet. LOL I have 24 & 21 year old daughters that are grown and living on their own now, I have 16, 7, 4 & 1 year old daughters and 7, 3 & 2 year old sons. My opinion is the girls are much easier but I'm sure that is not always the case.

well....I have a few of each and each one has their own little issues. Girls are tough because they tend to be very strong willed and stubborn, and boys are tough because they have a TON of energy!
On the positive side, boys definately love their mamas and that feels great....and girls are just like little angels and it's so fun to dress them up and do their hair etc.
I would be happy with a house full of either one I guess. As they get older, the obstacles change though...with girls you have weddings to pay for and I honestly think it costs more to raise a girl! With boys, you have to teach them to respect women and hope they dont do anything stupid!
Gee.....I am glad I have the best of both worlds!
I am sure you were a good kid....As far as your mom goes...she just wishes she had a boy because she had all girls....if she had all boys, then she would want a girl. I am sure it has nothing to do with the way you behaved.

I would like a mix. Sometimes it's just nice to have that expereince with both. I personally would like one boy and one girl. After that I don't think I would care much about the gender of the other children.
There are many reasons why a parent may want one or the other. Each has their perks and their down falls, I say don't be too concerned about it.

At first I wanted boys, but being an only girl with older brothers I always said that if I got a girl then I would want at least two of them so they won't be alone. Now I'm pregnant...wanted a boy in the beginning but got a girl and very very happy and excited. Either way, doesn't matter.. so long as they come out healthy with all five fingers on each hand and five toes on each foot, two eyes, two ears, and a cute little nose and mouth!

I have two sons, a 5 year old and a 19 month old and I love them to death! I always wanted boys, even back as a child imagining myself someday with kids. But I think that as long as whatever God gives you is a healthy, happy child, gender doesn't matter.

if i could choose it would be a boy. my friends daughter put me off girls because she is such a horrible little brat. However, at the end of the day, health is all that matters. i would like a boy tho

Boys are less expensive, and u know it's true. I'd rather have a boy to keep my lineage going.
