Hmmm....sounds like he's calling you that because that's his pet name for you. He made it special not just baby or sweetie. I know it annoys you (believe me) i've kinda learned to like it. But if it's bothering you tell him maybe as a joke like Hey, what's wrong with my name? or just tell him nicely Um, that's kinda getting on my nerves can you maybe cut down on it? Hope this helps you! :)

Does it really bother you that much? In the larger scheme of things does it really matter? By all means, if it bothers you that much you can ask him to stop because you think it's 'creepy', but sacrifices need to be made in all relationships and this is such a small one. Pick your battles and make sure it's worth it before you approach him on this.

Technically that is not any longer call calling. that is like him calling you "Shorty", "stupid" or comparable. although that is not any longer extraordinary to be called extraordinary till you extremely think of you're and happy with it. you are able to desire to tell him that it hurts you to be recognized as extraordinary as you have thoughts and if he loves you he will comprehend your thoughts. Or chortle it off. Do whichever works right for you and your relationship with your boyfriend.

just tell him you do not like the nickname. it depends on his sensitivity level (and the way you say it of course) whether or not it will hurt him or not. tell him that you just do not appreciate the little nick name he's given you and nicely ask him to stop. no biggie, but like i said, if the guy is really sensitive it may hurt him, but he'll get over it.

Instead of stopping it completely, ask him to call you something you like more. Like me for example, my bf asked me the night we got together what I wanted to be called. I told him, and to this day, he remembers everything I said.

Be up front with him. Honesty is the best policy after all!
If he is good to you, then he will understand. If not, well ... that might mean underlying issues in the future. Good luck and much love!

Say you don't like the name... Or tell him that YOU are HIS dream girl now, not "Aeris"...

In my opinion, that is really sweet that he calls you that...... But if you really want him to stop, i suggest you just sit him down and tell him how much you love him but show him how much you really want to be called by your real name. don't be too harsh and tell him that you absolutely hate the nickname

what do you care if you hurt his feelings? He didn't ask you if you liked it, he didn't care whether you liked it or not! just tell him!
