It's made in a lab with man made chemicals. Synthroid is the brand name. There are other meds that are T4 meds that will work the same as Synthoid. You may want to look into them. I used to be on Levoxyl for about a year, but it did not hlp with my hypothyroid symptoms. I'm now on Armour thyroid (natural med) and feel great.
