Aaron absolutley LOVES Power Rangers but I'm not sure with all the violence that it's a very good show for him right now, maybe in a couple years... but can anyone tell me of some good kids shows for five year olds?

I remember I used to watch Power Rangers too when I was younger. You can try some of the following shows. I watch them with the kids I baby sit and they seem pretty entertained by them. Most of them are on Playhous Disney, PBS (Kids), Nick. Jr. or maybe Noggin.
Comfy Couch
Seseme Street
Dora The Explorer
The Back Yardagains
Go! Diego, Go!
Blues Clues
Elmo's World
Aurthur
Clifford
Those are just a few things he can watch. Check your locat TV guide in the news paper or look online at www.tv.yahoo.com (choose your city and tv/cable provider) they will have a list of the programs on at that time.
Just check the tv rating and warnings at the beginning of the programs. If you don't find it suitable for him then don't let him watch it and be clear about what he is and is not allowed to watch. If he doesn't comply simply, limit or abolish his tv time. Maybe put up parental blocks on his tv, or get him a wide range of VHS or DVDs to choose from so you know what he's watching.

i tried for the first three hundred and sixty 5 days w/ no television, then my husband began turning it on even as she became a million. i became cooking in some unspecified time sooner or later & my daughter became grabbing my legs even as i became cooking, which isn't chance-free. because we've a small position, i did not prefer to position in yet another gate (there's a gate by technique of the steps it quite is a few feet faraway from kitchen). Now I wish I had b/c because then, it became throughout. inspite of the actual shown actuality that I do be sure that's academic & i attempt to observe w/ them with a view to study extra, i have become a lot less in touch & they are watching extra, esp. even as i'm cooking or cleansing. also, our small position don't have a outside so there is little to do. She's 5 now & i'm attempting to diminish back to 2 hrs. an afternoon that is said. up to now so good!
