I'm doing research into foot fetishism in males and I would like to hear from other guys who are "into" unshod girls. When did you find out that you liked feet? Were/are you ashamed to admit it? How did it happen? Do you like going barefoot yourself? If I can get enough information, I am hoping to maybe write a book on the topic. Thanks!

1-- I've known I've had one for as long as I've been old enough to be attracted to the opposite sex.
2-- I used to be ashamed when I was young and stupid. Actually, no, scratch that. the feeling wasn't "shame," it was fear. fear that the city would get together with torches and pitchforks and run me out. Hey, I was young. I've since found out that it's not that big of a deal, and am more open about it.
3-- There is no "how." It's just always been there. I think it's just something in my brain (I suppose you could say I was born with it). But that's just what I glean from my own observations, never know, there may have been some reason that I don't know about because I was too young to remember. But I really do have reason to believe it's in my brain.
4-- Nope, never do.

I'm a psychology major and have studied foot fetishes briefly. What I can tell you about this is that most foot fetishes start because of experiences as a child. Usually there is a form of classical conditioning at work where the child may rub up against a shoe or foot and get some sort of stimulation from it. Many times they are crawling around in mom's closet or room when this happens. They can start to pair sexual stimulation with feet or shoes sub-consciously and this can remain well into adulthood. Foot fetishes is a form of Partialism, so you might want to do research on partialism as well.

I might have a foot fetish since I love to nibble on my wifes toes but I actually like the whole leg. A sexy leg has always turned me on including the feet. I dont know it its a fetish though. Most guys have favorite parts of a womans body that they like to pay attention too but is that always a fetish? I love to be barefoot. I hardly ever wear shoes regardless of what I'm doing or where I go. My choice to live life without shoes however is for the comfort and feeling of freedom I get and has nothing to do with sex. I don't believe there is a connection between liking to be barefoot and foot fetishes.

Like Peter above, I also have a love of being barefoot, but for me, I'll admit it is partly sexual.
I am bisexual, and I enjoy mainly when guys pay attention to my feet, play with them, suck my toes, etc. But I prefer women's feet to guy's feet, but that partially depends on my mood, or whether there is a nice, large, muscular, bare male foot in front of me. Otherwise, I usually prefer womens' feet, and I would say I have a love of dirty feet too, though I like the feet to be clean when I suck on the toes and lick her soles, etc. To answer some more of the specific questions you ask:
I found out I was into feet quite young, when I realized other preferences, like going without underwear...I guess about 10 or 11.
Ashamed of being into feet? I never have been.
I've always looked at people's feet- I've done that for as long as I can remember.....
