How do I curl my hair??

How do I curl my hair myself? I use a skinnier curling iron. Thanx!

Heat a curling iron, pull up some hair (thin hair you can do more hair at once, thick do less then you think), heat up your hair by running the curling iron up and down your hair (this will help with the length of time it stays in). Put the curling iron in the middle of the strand hold on to the end, turn the iron open and close it, rapidly, keep turning and open and closing it until all your hair is in the iron. Wait till you think that it is done (between 30 to 45 sec. for thin hair, 45 sec. to 1 min. for thick). Then let it all go, hold it in your hand, spray with hairspray. Wait for it to cool down then let it go. Then continue on to the next piece. When you are all done spray all of it.
If you want to put your hair up, put it up before you start curling it. It makes life easier.

take a small section of hair (maybe like 1 inch). take your curling iron, make sure its hot enough, and open the barrel. put your hair inside it and close the clamp. then move the curling iron until its at the very ends of your hair and turn it inward. hold it for a few seconds depending on your hair type. if you have fine hair, use less time and less heat. thick hair, longer time and more heat. you can curl it up or little ,or curl it in until it almost reaches your scalp. but if you need more help, try going to a hair salon and ask them to show you how they style your hair. cheers

dont use a curling iron eww gross they stink! instead wash your hair and braid it in 7-12 places or a frech/german braid if you can
