I've never heard of having to install something to copy th e photos from a camera that's nuts your camera must have a memory stick those are generic devices and its drivers come already with any distribution of any Operating system even more if your computer is new it should recognize it with no trouble just plug it and use it!!!

Generally the Cd's that comes with the cameras have programs to edit photos or to give you a motion of your pictures but does not include any kind of driver

Yes - you can plug the card from the camera into a card reader and treat it as an external disk. Some printers, e.g. Epson, have a card reader built in. I haven't looked, but you can probably get the software off the Kodak web site.

Edit

The others are right, of course - you don't need a card reader!

yeah plug it into your computer and see if windows sees it as an extra drive. If not, download the driver from the kodak website. or use a cheap card reader.

Just connect the camera to your PC via a USB cable.
Win XP and later recognize cameras automatically as "hard drives"
Use the Windows File explorer to go to the camera "drive", navigate through its file system and you will find your pictures.

I never put mine on.

plug in camera
have it in review mode
wait and you will see a sign
on the bottom right
found new hardware
wait some more
you will see
new hardware is installed and ready
wait again
a box will come up in middle of screen
choose camera and scanner option
then just follow directions
