I have a walker coon hound..
and a black lab puppy.
They're both pretty big.
But they chase my cats. Not to hurt them, just to chase them.
I'm scared for my older cat, he's 15..
and my other cat is (i think) pregnant and very small.
When they catch up to them they smack the cats with their paws and hold them down..
What do I do?!?
I've tried squirting them with waterbottles, or telling them no..
but they just run faster..

They're just like kids, let it be. Also, eventually they're gonna corner the cats and bamm! Those dogs are gonna learn a serious, painful lesson, that's poetic justice. That's if your cats haven't been declawed , in which case, they're just dog toys. But if they're not hurting the cats I wouldn't worry too much about it. I see that alot.

My 10 month old Pug does the same thing but only to one of my cats. He doesn't bother my 15 year old cat but he chases my 5 year old cat. I think it is because the cat is scared and the dog senses it.

My pup dose the same thing to my cat , my cat is 12 years old and gets the upper hand most of the time your cat should be fine if not then I would get rid of the problem and find one of your animals a new home where they will not be annoyed all the time

Have onlyn restricted areas for your dogs (put up baby gates if you have to) but give your cats free run of the house.
