what colour should i paint my front door - its a georgian style frontage to the house with a pvc door in white -with that CHUNKY white architrave type thing round the door its a new build- so do i choose BLACK OR RED!!!! hmmmmmmmm POLL PLEAAAASE ..HEHE

If black, go with red and try to bring red in with other items, bushes, geraniums, impatients,

If the roof is a color other than black, you should consider a deep tone of that as well.

Leave it alone, or get tourself someone to paint it for you, provide them with a few different colors of paint, and have them surprise you, if you don't like the color, well, you can do it again next week, but please enjoy the surprise. my preference though is Bright RED easy to find in the daylight...... Your front door should be the bull's eye of your home, the first thing your eye focuses on. The color should say, "welcome, here I am". What color says that more than red! Paint your door red:)

how about both, you can paint about an inch of the outer layer of the door black and the rest of it red.
