Hot apple pies, the drinks not the food, with tuaca and cider and whip cream. Hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps.
A big bowl of pasta with meatballs and hot bread to dip in the sauce. Or chili or stew or clam chowder or meatloaf with gravy and mashers or chicken and dumplings or biscuits and gravy or cheese omelettes or mac and cheese. All good old comfort food.

A hearty pot of stew or soup. That always warms me up when it's too cold outside which is everyday. I live in northern canada.
