My father has paranoid schitzophrenia and I worry that I will eventually get it....I'm 20 years old. Does anyone else feel this way?

you may not get it, you can go see a doctor and talk to them see if you have any onset of symptoms but just because your father has it does not make you to have even a 50% chance of getting it, it is more like 10% or 20%.
Just live your life how you want to and make the most of it, you could be in a car accident or anything at any time and die instantly no time to worry about what can happen and not make the most of now

Know exactly what you mean. My dad has it and I think I might have it too even though I show no signs. Which in itself could be a sign. Go to the doctor and get them to put you out of your misery. Anyway with the way that medice is advanceing there will probably be a cure in a couple of years anyway (hopefully)

I'm all but certain that my mom was. But she is dead, and spent her life hiding from any who might have found out.
