God created a system for Adam and Eve to live in a perfect paradise without sin and death. This was the original intent. God made "free moral agents" not robots. Therefore, he gave each human a choice, whether to live under his loving kingdom or make our own. Adam and Eve decided to make decisions on their own and now we live in a system that "stinks"!

God has the power to look into the future, or not. Giving us free will is a loving provision. Humans and Angels have his privilege-animals don't.

Look at the scriptures in Genesis and see how Satan deceived Eve. Very interesting reading material. Notice how used doubt and selfishness to get them to eat from the tree.

Some theoligists have suggested that God put the apple there knowing Eve and Adam would choose it. I think the reason, they say, was because God knew humans were destined for real life. Cuz who the hell wants to live in absolute perfection? It would get boring really soon. An eternity of conflict free life? Ugh. We need variety.

The way i see it is Eve did us all a favor... she was brave enough to see that life was worth living. The whole gilded cage thing.

Adam and Eve had free will, the only thing they weren't allowed to touch was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, it was their decision to eat from the tree, they weren't tempted by God they were tempted by Satan. They wanted to do things their own way.

The same applies for us today, we are all given free will. We were all going to hell because everyone is born into sin and since a sinful person cannot enter heaven we were all doomed with a debt that we couldn't pay.

That's the reason that Jesus died on the cross, because he was the only one that could pay our debt, because we couldn't.

Since Jesus paid for our sin, we can enter heaven if we only believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and accept him. The choice is ours, to accept the free gift that Christ offers and go to heaven or reject it, and go to hell.

that's kinda like this: God needed to provide us a call. a call to adhere to him, or a call to now to not keep on with him. yet what if he did not placed that tree there. Then Adam and Eve does not have a call. they could ought to adhere to him inspite of in the experience that they did not prefer to. yet an extra reason he placed the tree there became because he needed to carry close if Adam and Eve quite loved him. in the experience that they quite loved God then they does not devour from that tree. in the experience that your nevertheless puzzled, that's yet another get collectively: What if quite everyone on earth became lengthy gone and it became purely you and some different guy. If he reported he needed to marry then you definitely how may you comprehend? 'reason I propose he has to. He don't have a call. BTW he did not create a foul gadget. wish i helped! =D

Because the story of Adam and Eve was written around 600BC by some Jewish priests while in exile in Babylonia. The story wasn't to be taken literally, but instead for the Hebrews to remember WHO created them and the grace of Yahweh (for not killing Adam and Eve outright).

who cares its a made up story... if adam and eve were the only two created then their kids must have had sex in order for civilization to exist. Pretty gross. Dont read into the bibles stories too much. The bible is nothing more than a book of morals.

That is like saying that when we are born God knows if we will be in heaven or burn in hell and if he knows we will burn in hell why were we ever born.
The thing we must not do is to second guess God. I don't know if he knew what would happen. I answer questions like this by saying God can know everything that he wants to know. How do we know that God wanted to know?

because god loves his people and he wanted all humans to have free will. True free will involves the ability to sin. Thus the point of heaven and hell, to reward the good and punish the bad. you should look into aquinas and st augustine for christian philosophy!! the issue of free will is a very hot christian topic.
