it only took a few seconds

I agree that you most likely have a pop-up blocker blocking the download prompt.

Try holding down Ctrl or allowing the site in your pop-up blocker.

I use webshots, and it would do the same thing. I had to change the pop up setting. It also, may have a communication problem with your type MP3-check the compatibility.
