you have to go into shops and ask if anyone is willing to take on an apprentice. you'll likely have to invest in a starter kit, though. most apprenticeships also take about a year or more. good luck!

You will never be able to tattoo for free.
You'll need an apprenticeship which will run you about 6k and usually lasts a year or two.
On top of that you will be working and being a shop ***** for no income what so ever, generally.
If you want something free right now, keep drawing and improving your skills. I'd think you'd need to if you're asking how to tattoo for free.
A skill costs money, time and effort.

Well, I know here in Kansas you have to be an apprentice for 5 years in order to become a tattoo artist. Also, you HAVE to buy your own tattoo kit for the most part. They just don't supply you with that expensive equipment.

If you mean tattooing for COMPLETELY free, even after becoming a tattoo artist.. you're crazy.

Yeah, you will have to become an apprentice to learn to tattoo. The good thing about that is... you get paid, but I'm assuming you will have to buy all your own supplies. If you know someone who is a tattoo artist, maybe they could teach you for free, but otherwise it's going to take a lot of time and work.

You don't. When dealing with a career that involves needles and other people's skin, it only makes sense that the courses cost money for health and insurance reasons. If you were allowed to learn tattooing for free, hell we might as well give free nursing & doctor courses also.

You can't. Not unless you are reallly lucky and someone loves you enough to take you under their wing and give you an apprenticeship for nothing. Still, you are going to have to put out money for equipment and whatnot. Aaand I really doubt anyone is willing to go out of their way to teach you what you need to know free of cost. You need shop experience, and to do that you have to put out money for someone to teach you the right way.
