I am Male and have a better relationship with my Mother. She was always the one to discipline so I guess I always feared, respected, honored, and LOVED her. I LOVE my parents equally, but in different ways and for different reasons.

I am male and I had always had a better relationship with my mom. I am proud to be a momma's boy. For the most part I had a good relationship with my father as well, but mom as she would say was ignorant like me. So we had a lot of laughs together.Both of my parents are now deceased.

i am a male and i would say i have a closer relationship with my father. i love them both to death, but my dad has been the one that has always been hard on me and the one that always keep on me to make the right decisions, and when i didn't he was there to correct me !! my mother is pretty much the same way, but i know i can tell my dad anything and he would help me in anyway he could

Interesting question. My mom was always the focal point in our family, the one with all the problems and the hairpin temper. Now that my mom is in a nursing home, my Dad and I have begun to get to know each other. He is very easy to get along with at this age, and probably because we are a few provinces apart. I'm female.

My birth father is a deadbeat that never did a damn thing for me and my sisters, so my mom wins by default. She loves me, but she is a confused nut, and it is more like have a teenager than a parent. Two years ago she got busted for pot on Mothers day, guess who had to cough up for her fines and drug screening.....yours truly.

I adored my father, i am female. Then i had a child of my own and began to bond with my mother. When my mother died i realised it was she that held our family unit together. I always respected my mother and knew my father would let me get away with anything so treated him thus.

Me it is totally opposite, i used to very scared of my dad but now that im older i have come to respect that he made me a better person and my mom is the nicer one but its weird

my mother im female. i feel more comfortable talkin to my mom about personal things. she is also very open w/ her past experiences. my father moved out last year and the only time i really see him is when he has parties to attend.( he's very powerful) so he needs a "tropy" daughter. lol but yea my mom she was alwayz there and never critizied me when i told her my feelsing she was also very open w/ me about her feelings on things too.
