As long as you are of average intelligence-its not hard.
The Air Force is the most selective, but as long as you have a high school diploma or GED and are not a total dunce you can get in.
There is a common myth that everyone in the air force is a pilot. That is silly and ignorant. The air force offers many other careers other than pilots.
Now if you are interested in becoming a pilot, thats a totally different story. Only the best of the best make it that far.
Go for it...go see your recruiter.

Talk to your recruiter, if you are a motivated individual that can meet the basic physical fitness and get a decent score on the ASVAB you can enlist in the air force no problem, by the way. Most people in the air force don't fly, don't think that they do.

Yes it more difficult as the AF is a technical arm of the military. More intelligence needed due to the job descriptions and equipment to be used. No cannon fodder here. If you want to get into the AF, study hard and make good grades. I am old AF, enlisted at 16, loved every minute of it. Go for it, it is a good force to join.

Supply and Demand. The Air Force can afford to be picky because there is less risk and therefore more popular.

its very hard.
Im going there as a military doctor. My recruiter told me i need a 3.5 or higher gpa in college and a 29 in the MCATS.
put it like this is, a 29 in the MCATS is like getting a 2250+ SATS scores out of 2400.

What's your height? If you're about 5'10, you're automatically disqualified because you're too long for the cockpit.

I know 4 girls - business girls - who tried to get into the RAF base in Hull - they would have made a fortune - but the guards threw threw them out.
