according to the Bible, none of the above. In Matthew 23:9 it says "call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." In other words, the Catholics don't hold to the Bible, but to their own traditions. look in Mark 7:8 and collossians 2:8 for more info about that. they also made up christmas instaed of celebrating Christs birth during tabernacles when it actually happened, and Easter to replace Passover, (those aren't Jewish holidays, they're God's appointed days). I'm not saying that all Catholics are bad, but a lot of them don't look to see if their teachers are teaching out of the Bible. The Bible is the Word of God and I'd suggest you look into it.

an "Apocethary" is not a trade. it is a noun which is the old form of what we now know as chemists or pharmacies or drug stores.

your question should have been "...was an apothecariast?" and that would have been the local "witch doctor" or "herbalist" which are also old forms of pharmacists...before the drug companies came along and stuffed the whole folk remedies thing. we'd been going to apothecariasts for thousands of years...then over about 20 to 50 years they're ALL out of work! why? Did it do us any good? Only marginal I think!

Love and Light,

Jarrah
ps sorry for not actually answering your question!
