Lately I have been eating oatmeal to get healthier. Anyway, I am wondering if is better to eat oatmeal with hot milk or hot water.

Which is better to eat with?

Water is the healthier option, although the milk would add some calcium and protein.

A good and easy way to look at the difference would be calorie-count.com where you can search products and see nutritional details very easily.

you can eat it any way you like..
would think it tastes better with milk.. thats all porrige is.. cooked oatmeal served usually with milk or some cream poured over.. but I guess water is an option... or fruit juice...
muesli is cold dry flaked oats served the same way... with milk poured over... or you can use yogurt which I like with mine..
have you tried oatcakes??.. they are fab and you can carry them with you wherever you go...
a healthy snack... and they can be eaten straight from the packet...

better for you to just cook it in milk in place of water, don't add sugar.try cream of wheat the same way and put a really mashed ripe banana in it while it's cooking,no sugar.

I use water, but dice up canned peaches in it with a little br. sugar and drink the milk on the side.

any way you do it, it's healthy.
