...just wondering... The problem is solved, so why not to ask him back to lead the ministry? Or maybe conservatives don't believe in the transformative power of a prayer?

His ministry doesn't believe he's straight any more than the rest of us.

None of us are THAT stupid.

The poor dear doesn't know whether he's Arthur or Martha any more. I think he should take a break from the public eye for a good long while instead of playing pinup boy for the exstraight/gay/straight ministry or whatever it is (who can keep up) as he is presently.

SURE he's not gay anymore. The man admitted to feeling urges his entire life, and *POOF* he's cured of the "gay disease?"

So the religious right-wingers hypnotize a human being that was just trying to do what he felt was natural. They took his life away in the name of God. Gee, what a decisive victory for the anti-gay people. I bet that turns the tide in the war on gayness, and all.

One day, Ted Haggard will crack and we'll find him dead in a hotel room, naked and OD'ed on meth with a dead gay prostitute next to his corpse. Remember, you heard it here first.

I believe in forgiveness......but he let a lot of people down.......preaching from that pulpit, and doing exactly opposite as he preached. He is a hypocrite. The only way he'll be allowed back.....is over time. People have to gain their trust in him again. He needs to start back at the bottom, under someone.....then work his way up again. In my opinion.

The only problem is that people won't forgive him. Mistake or not--I don't know. But we all make mistakes.

Some bigger than others...

He has been in the spotlight for years. That's tough.

He's led millions to the Lord. I don't see why a couple of sins should hold him back from the calling God has on his life

he was supposedly doing god's work before he got caught. do you really think he'll do god's will now? he can be as righteous as he was before, but remember, he was still sleeping with men. he's no different than any other televangelist. he want's to make money on the gullible.
